There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about the Egyptian Mau. We hope you enjoy our site and email us with any questions.
We are a small cattery located in southeastern Michigan. Specializing in Silver and Smoke Egyptian Maus. All kittens and cats are raised underfoot. No caging allowed. All have free roam of the house. I believe in a well socialized kitten. So we interact kittens with the cats at a young age. My 2 retired Show cats do the Job well. I have only a few litters a year, so my kittens are by Reservation Only "I breed for Quality and not Quantity, Kittens are not born here everyday"
I am involved with the Egyptian Mau to preserve the breed. Which takes a lot of work. I only work with a few select breeders who are as passionate about the breed as I am. Together we try to create the best examples of the Egyptian Mau.
We health screen all our cats and test for PK Deficiency
I am currently a member of the CFA Egyptian Mau Breed Council and the Global Egyptian Mau Society (GEMS).
We don't ship our babies but allow pickup at our home. Hand delivery can be arranged.
All our kittens are neutered or spayed before leaving our home... no exceptions! I am not going to contribute to the overcrowded shelters we already have.
We do not offer stud services or sell breeding cats.
Kittens available to approved homes only.
Please read and enjoy our website. There is a lot of info on the Egyptian Mau and our breeding policies. All your questions can be answered here. Or you can email us at email@example.com
We have been breeding and showing Egyptian Maus since 2002
Egyptian Maus are a wonderful breed of cat as a family companion. They are extremely smart, very quick and agile (they are known to run at least at 35MPH) They can be vocal telling you they are hungry, want to play, or cuddle. Some Maus meow in different ways. Some are quiet and some are not. Maus are very active and love to play. Some love to fetch toy mice or sparkle balls. They can be a very doglike breed. And their loyalty is forever. Maus love their humans and sometimes can be aloof with strangers. Though most warm up quickly to new faces.
Maus usually get along fine with other animals. As long as you don't have a zoo living at your house. Maus do not like to be overcrowded as most think they are the "Cats Meow" and the rest of the pets in the home are just mere pheasants. Females like to be princesses and spoiled rotten. Maus have a keen sense and know when something is wrong, they will comfort you in sorrow and stay away when you are angry.
** We understand that you have many choices of breeders from where you can select your new Egyptian Mau.
You will also see a variety of prices among these breeders.
Remember that you will often “get what you pay for.”
We feel that in order to get the best quality pet, you need to select a quality breeder who has taken the necessary steps to
ensure that the parent cats and their kittens are as healthy and genetically sound as possible. This kind of quality, of
course, will mean a higher price tag, but will protect you and benefit you in the long run. A cheaper cat may mean a cat that
is not healthy or of sound temperament, and could mean more heartache and money spent down the road.
It’s not cheap to raise cats, nor is it cheap to breed them. We have spent a lot of time, money, and effort into choosing our
parent cats and testing them before proceeding with breeding to help ensure healthy offspring and outstanding
temperaments. We are confident that, should you purchase a kitten from us, you will be more than satisfied with your new
family member and the service you receive!
